So is it really “effortless”?

You caught us. Planning an event does require a little bit of effort. However, booking with us takes a lot of that effort off of you. That's our goal- to make it feel effortless. You still have to make some decisions, pay all the vendors, and show up on the day. We can't get married for you. That's awkward.

Do you only do weddings?

We LOVE weddings! While they are the majority of what we do, we're still event planners. Reach out to us if you would like to plan a non wedding event. If we are unable to accommodate your event, we're happy to connect you with another planner.

What do you mean by “limited decor”?

We want your event to be beautiful, however even we have limitations. Depending on several factors, like complexity of the decor or the amount of hours we have for set up, limited decor for the Effortless team means decor that can be set up in less than two hours by your planner team and doesn't require specialized equipment. Anything outside of that scope requires hiring a decorator.

Wait, aren't you decorators?

Short answer: no. An Event Decorator does just that. They specialize in event decor and have the skills and tools available to them to do a spectacular job!

Well, what do you do then?

We're Wedding Planners and Event Coordinators. We take the vision in your head, help you make sense of it, and make it a reality (within reason. Sorry, we don't have Beyonce's private number for her to sing your wedding song. She blocked us last week.) Before your event, we connect you with vendors and make sure they have what they need to be ready for your day. The day of the event we supervise and make sure things go the best way they can. We also hype you up and take tons of pictures!

What do you mean by wedding planning besties? Does that mean I can call you whenever I want?

Planning an event, especially a wedding is a MAJOR deal. We want to make sure that your comfortable with the team helping to make it happen. Being your planning bestie means that we check in on you, hype you up, and genuinely care. So for however long you're with us, consider us your professional friends. Don't feel the need to be impeccably dressed for every meeting. Don't apologize for having feelings (share them respectfully, of course). Be honest and have fun with us. However, we do have other clients, lives, and families, so don't be offended if we don't text back right away at 1am.

Why should I choose you?

We'll cry if you don't. In all seriousness, you should choose a planner that makes this process feel easy. You should look back on your event and remember the event, not the stress. We pride ourselves in doing just that by connecting you with some of our favorite mental health resources. We're compassionate about taking care of our clients, the whole client.
